What is a Packout?

This process involves a crew carefully packing and moving your items into a secure storage container to protect them and keep them out of the way during the renovation. Special care is taken to safely pack your valued possessions, with photographs documenting everything that’s moved.

Is a Packout Needed?

A packout of your belongings may be required to provide access to your home or business during restoration. Removing your belongings from the property allows for a more efficient and faster construction process. Our team will advise you if we think a packout is necessary for your restoration.

Where are Belongings Kept?

The items from your packout will be stored securely in a container placed on your property, typically in the driveway or parking lot. Once the construction is finished, the packout crew will carefully move everything back into your home or business and unpack your belongings. With everything restored and in place at this point, you can get back to normal and resume your everyday life.
